HANA archaeologists have experience in pre-field research, preparing research designs, overseeing archaeological surveys, field testing, lab work, analysis, cataloging, and/or artifact or feature conservation or treatment recommendations including all pertinent studies and report preparation, and performing or overseeing archaeological monitoring as required for various construction projects throughout California and Nevada. Selected archaeological monitors are (or can be) 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER trained for those sites where staff may potentially be exposed to hazardous substances.
